Our Story
North Star Sports was founded in 1985 by Patricia Miller. Pat is one of only 1% of females in the country who own a bike shop. North Star Sports has always placed a strong emphasis on women’s products and being a comfortable place where all cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts would feel at home.
We stock a wide array of outdoor, fitness and apparel products for both men and women.
We are constantly searching for unique products that we can enjoy and share with our customers.
North Star Sports is truly a family business. Jay brings thirty plus years in the biking industry, managing bicycle shops in Boston, working as a bicycle sales representative and working at The Children’s Hospital in the Sports Medicine department.
J.P. grew up in the outdoor business, gaining hands on experience from an early age.
He has attended numerous bicycle fit clinics and outdoor seminars throughout the country. He is a UVM graduate with a degree in small business.
We invite you visit North Star Sports and try out a Trek, Giant or Bianchi bike. Don’t be surprised if you're served a latte while you wait!
